Are shampoo bars more expensive than liquid shampoo?

No, in fact the opposite is true. Beauty and the Bees shampoo bar can replace 3-4 bottles of liquid shampoo. They are also more concentrated than liquid shampoo, so a little goes a long way.

How often should I use shampoo?

The Shampoo Bars are mild and gentle so will not damage your hair if you wash your hair frequently.

How much of the shampoo bar do I use in each wash?

Simply work the shampoo bar through the hair, lathering with your fingers. A full sized shampoo bar should last 80 – 90 washes, depending on the length/volume of your hair. To get the best results for your scalp we suggest using our shampoo brush.

How long do the 15g sample size Honeycomb Shampoo bars last?

On average expect the sample Honeycomb Shampoo bars to last 3 – 4 weeks but this is dependent on how long your hair is, how frequently you wash your hair, whether you dry the bars between use, whether you use hot or warm water and how many times you lather.

Do these Honeycomb Shampoo Bars actually work? I've tried others and they didn't?

We have been making soap shampoo bars for 30 years. Over the past few years we have developed a soap free range of pH Balanced Honeycomb Shampoo Bars which work well in all types of water. We use high quality powerful herbs grown in rich soils in northern Tasmania for high quality results.

How long until I see results?

Most people see results with the first wash, with clean, soft, shiny hair immediately but of course everyone is individual and results can vary.

Do you still need to use a conditioner?

Some people find that the shampoo bars are so moisturising and conditioning that they do not need a follow-up conditioner. We do however have over 500 reviews of our conditioner bars from people who love how soft, silky and nourished their hair feels. The conditioners are also well suited to extremely badly damaged, bleached or dry hair.

Do the shampoo bars work with bore water?

Yes, our Honeycomb Shampoo Bars work well in hard water, with better, more consistent results than traditional soap-based shampoo bars.

Are the Honeycomb Shampoo Bars soap free?

The Honeycomb Shampoo Bars are 100% soap free making them effective to use in hard or soft water.

What is the difference between the shampoo bars and the new pH balanced Honeycomb bars?

We started making traditional soap shampoo bars in Australia in 1993. Now we have developed new pH Honeycomb Shampoo bars using new safe lathering agents that work better in hard water.

Do the shampoo bars work for people of all ages?

Yes our Shampoo Bars are suitable for people of all ages. Our Bee Pure Fragrance Free Shampoo for Sensitive Scalp is great for babies and toddlers.

Do shampoo bars drag or pull on the hair when you use them?

The shampoo bars do not drag or pull on your hair. Move the shampoo bar around wet hair for a few seconds and you will see that a rich lather instantly appears that you work through your hair.

How do I store the shampoo bars when travelling?

When you are travelling you can put your shampoo bar back in the special moisture resistant vegetable wax coated cardboard packaging box. It is important to dry the shampoo bar before replacing into the packaging. You could also choose to put the shampoo bar in a recycled plastic container to travel with you. Do you have a shampoo bar to brighten greys or blondes?

Yes we use bamboo charcoal in the Bee Healthy Scalp Scrub Shampoo for Flakey Scalp to help brighten blonde or grey hair.

Do you have a product specifically for curly or frizzy hair?

Great product

When my daughter turned 12 and hormones kicked in, her hair started to get really oily and remained that way even after a wash. We try to stick to less toxic products so swapped her normal shampoo for product after product trying to find something that would work. Nothing got results until we came across this shampoo bar. It's the best we've found her hair still gets oily but she gets 2-3 days of it looking fine after washing with this shampoo. We also tried a different brand shampoo bar which was also OK but it did seem to just disintegrate and only lasted for half the time that this one does. So very happy with product

A beautiful shampoo bar, smells delightful, unfortunately it was not suitable for my hair which I’m very sad about. In no way is this the fault of the shampoo. I’ve always had difficult hair when it comes to shampoos.

Tried it and love it!

The Bee Clean Shampoo for Oily Hair and Scalp is the perfect match for my hair. I tested out a couple of different shampoo bars from Beauty and the Bees finding that my hair was still becoming its usual oily self, but this one… wow! I can now go for days without any hint of greasiness. It’s great. I love it. My hair feels soft, healthy, and lush rather than a hairy damp oil slick.

Love Love Love

I was sceptical about using this soap for my hair, as I had to apply it twice for it to lather up effectively. However, it does make my hair clean, and it stays cleaner than it did with regular shampoo. It smells delicious. I would definitely recommend this product.

Wow. .. .Absolutely Amazing

I was very dubious about trying this product after trying multiple other shampoo bars that resulted in,coarse& knotted hair and a lot of hair loss. I decided to go with the sample pack to start with,as I also have sensitive skin and a lot of allergies. All I can say is. .. .. .WOW!!!. For me the PH range is absolutly amazing ! My fine hair feels soft and silky again!. ( and I am finding a lot less hair in the vacuum cleaner😉) I have now purchased multiple boxes of the PH range and I will never go back.

Soft, shiny, but flat

Lovely shampoo. My hair is soft and so shiny. However it makes my hair very flat tbh. I need some texture, movement and bounce without filling it with products to achieve this. Perhaps I will try another one next time.

This is it!

Note to self: remember to reorder before getting down to the last sliver of Bee Clean! This bar is the antidote to “town water”, which leaves my hair greasy and lank. I’ve tried lots of different bars and shampoos, with mostly disappointing results. But this is different! I was so relieved to wash my hair after receiving my resupply of Bee Clean today. The difference is amazing - my hair is clean and soft, and I am happy :)

Amazing Product

Purchased after trying the sample pack. Would never have tried this one on it's own as my hair isn't super oily but figured I may as well try them all. So glad I did! This bar works so well, I've experienced a residue with other shampoo bars but this one works so well and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. I absolutely love it and it's lasts forever!

Great lather
