We offer subsidised flat rate shipping using AusPost for all deliveries.
Australia Wide
AusPost Standard – flat rate $7.95 – FREE over $75
AusPost Express – flat rate $12.50 – FREE over $100
Tasmania
AusPost Standard – flat rate $5 – FREE over $75
AusPost Express – flat rate $10 – FREE over $100
There are two main options for shipping:
Aus Post Express – This option is fast, cost effective and trackable online, since we want our fresh products to reach you quickly, safely and in perfect condition. This option will have your package delivered in 1-2 days for most capital cities and metro areas.
Aus Post eParcel 7+ days – this option has been provided as a lower shipping cost option and parcels can take 5-7+ business days for delivery (or longer to remote or regional areas, WA & NT).
NOTE: we don’t recommend selecting eParcel 7+ days delivery option for our Creams.
Can I pick my order up locally?
We have 2 x local pickup options. This means you can pick your online order up at the following locations without incurring a shipping charge:
- Our Salamanca store (orders placed before 8am Thursday will be available for Pickup from Friday onwards) – 33 Salamanca Place, Hobart, Tasmania (view Google Map)
- Glenorchy factory (Monday to Thursday 8am – 3:30pm) – Unit 4/59-63 Chapel St, Glenorchy, Tasmania 7010 (view Google Map)
How long will it take for my order to be shipped?
Orders are packed Monday to Thursday and are often shipped the same day that your order is placed. You will receive an email notification to let you know your package is on its way.
Once your order has been shipped it should take 1 to 2 business days for delivery for Express and 7+ days for Aus Post eParcel.
You will receive a tracking number and link by email when your order is shipped. You can track your parcel online here. If you do not receive this email, please double check you have used the correct email address while placing your order.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: if you experience a delay in delivery, please attempt to track your package online in the first instance. Packages rarely go missing, however in the unlikely event that you feel your order has, please contact us and we will investigate.
What are my AusPost delivery options?
Your shipping options and costs will automatically appear on the cart page and as you checkout. Please choose your shipping option carefully.
Option 1 – Signature Required (optional)
Choosing this option on the checkout page means your order is delivered to your local Post Office. You will receive a card in your mailbox to let you know your order is ready to be picked up. You will need your ID and to sign for your order during pickup from the Post Office.
Option 2 – Authority to Leave (optional)
Choosing this option means Beauty and the Bees can accept no further responsibility for the package. Additionally, if AusPost deems the premises unsafe to leave the parcel or too big for your mailbox, they may choose not to do so and leave you a card to pick up your order from the Post Office.
If an item is missing from your order please let us know. We can ship it out to you, issue a refund, or include it in your next order.
Why Do we pack our orders the way we do?
PLEASE NOTE: we have been packing mail orders for 25 years; yes we have tried every combination of packing materials known to man (no, shredded paper does not work; it settles instantly when packed and offers no protection to glass at all resulting in frequent breakages) so we know what works to get items to you safely.
- Where bags are required ( for free samples of soaps, etc in mail orders) we use biodegradeable cellophane bags, and only kraft recycled paper bags instore.
- We use only recycled/earth friendly shipping materials to pack mail orders, Australia Post satchels are recyclable.
- Packing boxes are all recycled Kraft card.
- The spoons/spatulas provided with our moisture creams are not plastic but also biodegradeable, made of cornstarch.
- And yes, all other packing materials are biodegradable including cornstarch spoons (included with creams) and packing beads/bubbles are recycled (again from other small businesses so they get a second use) and made only from edible cornstarch or wheat, no polystyrene! Feed them to your chickens if you have them!
International Shipping
NB: unfortunately we do not ship to the EU due to the GDPR privacy laws.
How do you ship international orders?
Outside of Australia our preferred shipper is Australia Post. You have 2 options to choose from:
Option 1 – International Standard – please be aware this is a non- trackable freight option. Orders take approximately 6-10 business days for delivery depending on your country. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OPTION.
Option 2 – International Express – this option includes tracking of your item. Orders take approximately 4-6 business days for delivery depending on your country.
We suggest that if you have not received your order in this time frame you contact your local delivery centre.
Please do not hesitate to email us at info@beautyandthebees.com if you have any further questions about our process.
You will receive a tracking number and link by email when your order is shipped. You can track your parcel online here. If you do not receive this email, please double check you have used the correct email address while placing your order.

International shipping quotes do not include any duties, taxes or other charges that may be applied by your countries government. Any duties and taxes for international shipments are at the cost of the customer.
Every country has different rules and regulations when receiving international packages. We follow the general guidelines set by the Australian Postal Service for international shipping that are not specific for any given country.
Customs regulations are often different for small packages versus large packages. Please be sure that you are aware of any specific customs regulations for your country. We will do everything we can to help you receive your package, but we cannot be responsible for packages that are detained in customs.
Missing item policy for international orders?
Due to the rising cost of international postage, we can no longer ship items that are missing from your international order. In the rare event that you discover a missing item, please let us know as soon as possible. We will gladly issue a refund for the missing item(s).
