    This soap bar was crafted for The Tasman, a five star hotel nestled in the heart of Hobart.

    Just like The Tasman’s lucky guests, we wanted you to enjoy a touch of luxury too – so now you can get your hands on this special edition soap that’ll make you feel a bit fancy.

    It’s filled with rich dairy cream from Ashgrove, a family farm in Tasmania’s fertile North West – think: rolling hills and grass so green you need sunglasses. Their cows lead natural, low stress lives on lush pastures, producing golden milk that’s filled with nutrition.

    This buttery goodness is combined with Tasmanian extra virgin olive oil, to purify and soften your skin without ever stripping it, along with a buffet of organic plant butters, oils and extracts.

    The scent is fresh and sweet, consisting of fourteen pure essential oils like cedarwood, bergamot and pink pepper.

    And it’s ideal for all skin types, leaving you softer than a baby cow’s nose.

    What's so special about your soaps?


    Our soaps are luxurious, natural, detergent-free soaps that cleanse your skin without stripping the skin’s natural oils.

    I don't use soaps. I use 'soap free' body wash. Is this ok?


    Unfortunately, people now associate “soap” with “detergent” such SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulphate) and SLES (Sodium Laurel Ether Sulphate). Our soaps do not contain detergents. Our soaps are real soaps, made with plant oils, leatherwood honey & beeswax.

    Are the soaps suitable for sensitive skin?


    Most definitely! We actually have many customers with sensitivities, contact dermatitis, even customers undergoing radiotherapy or chemotherapy who use our soaps.

    Which soap should I use for sensitive skin?


    Please check the ingredient lists to ensure you aren’t sensitive to any of the ingredients. We recommend the uncoloured, unscented soaps for customers with sensitivities and we recommend you always patch test first. You can find the full range of products suitable for sensitive skin here.

    Do you use lye to make soaps?


    Yes, we use lye to turn plant oils into soaps, but here’s no lye left in the finished soaps.

    What is the pH of the soaps?


    All natural soaps are alkaline (pH higher that 7). More important than pH is how emollient the soaps are. Our soaps are “super fatted” that means we add more plant oils at saponification stage. This expensive extra step is to ensure that the soaps are moisturising, gentle and with no lye left in the soaps (all the lye is completely consumed).

    How do you store the soaps?


    Use our Air Dry Soap Saver to prolong the life of the soaps or keep the bar dry between uses. When travelling, pat the soap bar dry, put it back in the vegetable-wax lined box and leave the box open so the bar has a chance to dry.

One word - GLOWING
I use this once a day (at night) and my skin is absolutely glowing! My skin has toned and evened out with my pimple scars and dark spots fading! Even my blackheads and whiteheads are shrinking! This is such a beautiful product, I cut the bar in half to make it last longer and even then the bar is huge! I also use the frizzy shampoo bar is works an absolute treat!

Love this soap

Finally the perfect cleanser
I love everything about this. The scent is mild and unobtrusive and my face is perfectly clean and soft after use. Makes the ideal travel cleansing bar if you cut off a slice and pop it into a small container.

I bought 6 of the Tasman Soap, great deal. This is probably the best soap I have ever used for my dry skin. I virtually don’t even need moisturiser. And I love the scent.

I bought 3 soaps to give them a try, one was Goats Milk and the 2 others the Tasman. The goats milk I really like, the Tasman, I'm not as keen on the scent. They're both moisturising, but I prefer the goats milk.

Petal soft skin
I haven't needed to use moisturiser since cleansing my face with The Tasman. For the first time in my life I now have petal soft skin that remains smooth and supple. I only wish this came into existence 30 odd years ago when my eczema was bad. I find that my face oil now adheres to the skin better as well!. Subtle, yet fresh, inoffensive scent.
