NOTE: this bar is not suitable for dyed/coloured hair This charcoal bar has one goal in life: to clean up your act. It gently scrubs away flakes and detoxes your scalp, mops up oiliness and pulls pollutants from deep within the hair shaft to reveal your true colours (especially if those colours are silver or blonde). It’s a naturally brightening, scalp balancing wonderbar that’ll refresh your locks in one wash. Wunderbar!

    Product Description

    So, what’s in it? There are natural bamboo granules (sustainably sourced, of course) which scrub away flakes and allow your skin to breathe, stimulating thicker, lusher hair growth. 

    NOTE: this bar is not suitable for dyed/coloured hair

    There’s activated bamboo charcoal, a fine black powder that’s highly absorbent and hoovers up toxins like a vacuum cleaner. Environmental pollutants can gum up and coat the hair shaft, causing dullness or yellowing. The addition of purifying bamboo charcoal has an instant brightening effect, making silver, white, grey and blonde mops shimmer – without the harsh chemicals.

    Chunky Tasmanian kelp sloughs off dead skin cells and soaks up excess oil, feeding your hair with fatty acids and marine minerals for shiny mermaid tresses. Together with soothing calendula, moisturising Tasmanian leatherwood honey and beeswax, and rich cacao butter, this satisfying scalp scrub is the glow up your hair’s been waiting for.

    Yes, Beauty and the Bees shampoo bars are formulated to work for all hair types, whether you have fine, thick, curly, or straight hair.

    Our products are not medicated. However, we have many customers who use our products successfully without aggravating their psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis. If you have soft water, we recommend the Hemp Seed Shampoo as it’s extra gentle (uncoloured, unscented).     🐝 Can I use a shampoo bar on colour-treated hair? 🐝
    Yes, these bars are pH balanced, extremely gentle and moisturising, and do not strip the colour.

    🐝  Are shampoo bars more expensive than liquid shampoo? 🐝
    Not at all! Beauty and the Bees shampoo bar can replace 3-4 bottles of liquid shampoo. They are also more concentrated than liquid shampoo, so a little goes a long way.

    🐝 How do I store a shampoo bar to make it last longer? 🐝After each use, store your shampoo bar in a dry place and allow it to air dry. To prolong the life of your shampoo bar, you can also store it in a soap dish.

    🐝 Are shampoo bars as effective at cleaning my hair as liquid shampoo? 🐝
    Yes, Beauty and the Bees shampoo bars are just as effective at cleaning your hair as liquid shampoo. They are also free of harsh chemicals that can strip your hair of its natural oils, leaving it healthy and nourished.

    🐝 Can I buy this in stores around Australia? 🐝
    We have a store in Salamanca Place in Hobart but concentrate online (We’ve been online for 29 years now!) as the high quality and freshness of our products don’t lend themselves to mass distribution 🤗

    Thoroughly wet your hair. A shower, river, waterfall or torrential downpour will do.

Really healthy scalp scrub!
