    Which Body Cream should I choose?

    The choice you must make is which fragrance – Honeyed Rose or Honeyed Cumquat – or only the natural ingredients scent – Unscented. The body cream remains the same.
    The Luxe Cream Sampler is a great way to try all three body cream varieties in 15ml sample sizes or you can purchase a 15 ml sample size for each variety of body cream individually.

    Does the Body Cream actually work?

    We have been making moisture creams for over 30 years ago initially in response to eczema and very dry skin. Most other moisture creams are made with 90% water and a small percentage of oil. The water evaporates when it hits the skin leaving nothing to coat the skin and trap the moisture in. Our creams are super rich in beeswax which clings to the skin – keeping it moisturised and nourished for up to 24 hours.

    Why is the Body Cream so expensive?

    The body creams are not expensive considering a 200ml jar lasts approximately 6 months if used twice daily. We only use the highest-grade ingredients to create a quality product, so you are paying for a quality product. Our creams are water-in-oil emulsion. The total (expensive) plant oil content is much higher than the (free) water content.

    Water is the first ingredient listed on the Body Cream list of ingredients. Why should I pay for water?

    We use water in our Body Creams to create an emulsion with the oils we use. This delicate emulsion balance creates a rich cream that nourishes your skin. The water also helps with the cream’s spread ability on your skin but evaporates leaving a rich layer of fine oils and waxes.

    Are your Body Creams very rich?

    Our Body Creams are made with high quality oils and beeswax which creates a moisturising film on the skin to slow down TEML (trans epidermal moisture loss). This keeps the skin feeling moisturised for longer. You only need to use very little of our creams to feel the difference on your skin.

    Why is your Body Cream thicker than other Body Creams?

    Our creams are water-in-oil emulsion. The total plant oil content is much higher than the water content. This produces a thicker, very moisturising, nourishing & protective cream.

    Will the Body Cream clog my pores?

    The Body Cream shouldn’t clog your pores. We use beeswax that is a natural substance. We don’t use petroleum jelly (fossil fuel) that can block pores.

    Are your Body Creams better than other Body Creams?

    No, you can use the Body Cream on your face, hands and all over the body.

    What is the best way to use the Body Cream?

    After a shower, towel dry, immediately apply the Body Cream on damp skin. The cream will spread easily and it will not be sticky. Spend one minute or so to massage the cream into the skin. If it feels dry in some areas, you can apply more cream in those areas.

    Do I keep the Body Cream in the fridge?

    If you live in a hot and humid climate, it’s best to keep the Body Cream in the fridge or stored in a cool room especially if it takes you a long time to finish the jar. If the Body Cream is not kept in a cool environment, the shelf life may be shortened.

    Why do I need to use a spoon with the Body Cream?

    Our hands carry a lot of germs, so it is recommended to use a spoon. If you keep dipping your fingers in the jar, it may shorten the shelf life as our creams do not contain artificial preservatives

    We use “best before” date, not “expiry” date. It means the Body Cream is best to be used before the date. It doesn’t mean that it expires on that date.

    If your cream is stored in a cool environment , you may still be able to use it following these steps:
    Check visually that the cream is OK (no mould or other growth)
    If it’s OK, then smell it to make sure it’s still fresh and hasn’t turned rancid
    If it’s OK, patch test on the inside of elbow or wrist
    If it’s OK, you can then use it

    Does the Body Cream have sunscreen in it?

    No, we don’t add sunscreen to any of our products. We suggest you wear a wide-brimmed hat & a long-sleeved top
